I received a letter from Lewis Landsberg, MD, VP for Medical Affairs, Northwestern University and Dean, Professor of Medicine, Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern. --

On behalf of the Dept. of Neurology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, I would like to express our gratitude for your generous gift to the Brain Tumor Research Fund in memory of Lori Arquilla Andersen. Your generosity provides Dr. Jeffrey Raizer and his neuro-oncology team with the funds required to further our understanding of brain tumors and improve vital treatments and therapies.

Your committed support furthers innovative research and subsequently increases our opportunities to secure grants from governmental and non-governmental organizations. As our research advances, we will increase our capacity to attract additional faculty members and fellows in the hopes of ultimately establishing a dedicated neuro-oncology center here at Northwestern University.

Any progress we make in our mission to fight this debilitating disease and bring forth improved treatments is made possible largely through generous, philanthropic efforts such as yours.
