Thank you all for your continued prayers. Lori is physically and emotionally doing well. Hearing Dr. Fine tell us the LY drug was not working for Lori was hard to hear and viewing the scans was devastating. Dr. Fine indicated the LY drug may make the tumors more susceptable to carboplatin (the chemo agent we will try next). Some of his patients that have failed LY have gone on to do well with carboplatin. So we move on to the next steps. We will be seeing Dr. Raizer at NMH on Tuesday and hopefully begin the next chemotherapy on Wednesday.

The next month will be very taxing physically for Lori and emotionally for all of us. We love you all very much and Lori wants you all to know how grateful we are for your prayers, postings, e-mails, and phone calls of support. Lori says, "I am very tired and please know that I will try and get back to family and friends as soon as I feel up to it. Living is still my goal and your messages of support give me strength."
