New Year

Lori & Erik are on their way home right now from Sarasota where they had a very relaxing & much needed vacation. (A big thank you to Lorraine for the use of her condo!!) My husband & I are home from a wonderful relaxing vacation in Jamaica. We are all ready to begin the new year & face the challenges ahead.

Lori's blood tests on 12/22 & 23 turned out good. (A big thank you to Walt for the hotel stay this trip!!) We are heading back to Bethesda this Thursday for her 1st MRI (since the start of this new clinical trial LY317615) on Friday, 1/7. (A big thank you to Dana & Tim for the hotel stay for this trip!!) Please say extra prayers on Friday for good results showing the drug is working.

On Saturday night in Maryland we are going to see David Bailey, a folk singer who had the same cancer (gbm) as Lori & is an 8 year survivor. We saw him in 2003 right after Lori finished her chemo & radiation treatments. He was very inspirational for all of us. It just happens he is playing 1/2 hour away from where we are staying.
