First Day of Radiation

Yesterday I started my radiation treatment. That isn't nearly as much fun as chemo. Radiation is done 5 days a week at the hospital for 6 weeks - each session last about 15 minutes. The radiation beams so far (and it has only been 2 treatments) create a little burning sensation at the 5 points of entry. The points of entry will likely be here I will have some patches. Although, yesterday a tech told me that not everyone loses their hair - perhaps I will be one of the lucky ones, especially because I have so much of it!! We'll see...
